How to Better Self-Love (Part 1-6) (Page 5)

It wasn’t until I truly went within and really examined who I was and what my values were that I came to the conclusion that my purpose was (and still is) to be a master teacher who helps people realize their full potential in this life. That insight changed how I lived my life and how I relate to people.

Relationship Insight #5 – Self-Actualization

Realize what your values are first, then determine your purpose. I believe self-actualization is the key to discover your higher purpose. Take time to really see who you are and what’s unique within you that’s ready to be shared with the world.

When you self-actualize, you discover something that is bigger than what you consciously think about.

Once you start living with that sense of purpose, you’ll be embodying it in all aspects of your life. This will change how you see the world and how other people will see you.

Some people you are close to now may exit your life as you live your purpose. After leaving the corporate world and dedicating myself to my new purpose, I’ve had many friends leave my life. But, when that happens, you’ll find that those “spaces” will be new friends that support and enhance what you are doing with your life right now. And since you’re living authentically through your purpose, you’ll find that the quality of your relationships will be stronger and deeper than you had every felt before.
